Delete your PepTrac data

1. Delete in the app

Open PepTrac, tap the Settings icon in the header, then under Account tap Delete Account and confirm. If you are not subscribed, tap Manage account on the subscription screen, then Delete account.

This permanently deletes your PepTrac account and its records from our active cloud account systems, including cloud chat attachments and bug-report screenshots. You will be signed out.

2. Request deletion by email

If you cannot use the app, email team@peptrac.app from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my data”. We verify the request before acting on it.

3. What is deleted and what may be kept

Deleting your account removes your account and associated records from active cloud account systems. Some data is handled differently:

• Subscription records are retained by billing providers as needed for purchases, restoration, support, fraud prevention, and legal requirements.
• Support communications are retained as needed to resolve requests and meet legal obligations.
• Technical logs and backups follow provider schedules and legal needs, and may outlast deletion from active systems. We do not claim instant deletion of every backup or provider log.
• Device caches, local files, and reports you exported stay on your device or with the people you shared them with; remove local copies with your device storage controls.
• Deleting PepTrac copies of Apple Health data does not erase the original records in Apple Health.

Full details are in Data Retention and Deletion in our Privacy Policy. To remove only your tracking records and keep your account, use Delete Tracking Data in the app instead.

4. Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel billing. Cancel your subscription separately through Apple (or the store you subscribed with).

5. Advertising data

PepTrac uses the Meta (Facebook) SDK for advertising measurement. You can turn off tracking at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Your deletion request also covers instructing relevant providers where required; see Data Retention and Deletion for how we handle provider-held information.
